VPI ADS Drive System

The VPI drive system has two pure analog frequency generators featuring low distortion and noise, and a high current class-A/B amplifier that is transformer-coupled to the turntable output. Fully analog logic control offers low-noise operation, and the 33/45 speed adjustment controls have center detente positions that are factory calibrated.  Created by VPI’s director of electrical engineering, Michael Bettinger.
